Adopt-A-Pet: Morgan and Peaches

Posted:
Meet our Pets of the Day, Morgan and Peaches.

The two are staying at Bob's House for Dogs. Their bios are below from the Bob's House website. Click here for more information.

MORGAN is a very playful, friendly girl who is a mixed breed (possibly collie/boxer).
She was surrendered to MCAS due to the passing of her owner. With the loss of her owner, she would love to stay with her friend Peaches, as they are bonded. She is 8 years old (dob: 8/27/'05) and very young at heart. She likes to play ball, go for walks, and gives gentle kisses. Morgan is extremely smart and listens very well. She truly wants to please you all the time. She would do best in a home without smaller children.  Morgan and Peaches are being fostered for Monroe County Animal Shelter.

PEACHES was surrendered to MCAS due to the passing of her owner. After the huge loss of her owner, she would love to stay with her bonded friend, Morgan. She is an adult dog, maybe around 7 years old (?). She looks like a mini-Mastiff, maybe a Boxer mix. She is about 60 lbs or so and about knee high at her shoulders. It is likely that Peaches was mistreated at some point in her life. She is very submissive and responds to commands immediately. Peaches is great on a leash and gives wonderful,  gentle kisses. She would be best in a home without small children . She doesn't seem to have a lot of extra energy (similar to Mastiffs) Both Peaches and Morgan have been through a lot and deserve a consistent, loving home. She is being fostered for Monroe County Animal Shelter.
