Bike enthusiasts gear up for Act 12 Ride for AIDS Network

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison bike enthusiasts gear up for a 300 mile, four day ride to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and funds for the AIDS Network.

The Act 12 Ride is July 31 - August 3 around the Madison area. It's for riders of all levels and starts at Olbrich Park. The closing ceremony will be at the Capitol Square. There is also an optional Century Day only ride Saturday August 2nd. Those riders only have to raise $400 to participate.

Wake Up Wisconsin anchor Dani Maxwell will help send riders off on July 31st and even ride the first leg with them. Her co-anchor Brandon Taylor will welcome them back Sunday. The Act 12 Ride is sponsored by WKOW.
