Grant County officials say 9-year-old boy died in grain bin accident

GRANT COUNTY (WQOW) --- Grant County officials tell ABC affiliate, 27 News, that a 9-year-old boy has died after being stuck in a grain bin.
It happened around 12:35 p.m.Thursday when the family was trying to fix an auger in the grain bin that had become stuck. The boy was helping when he became trapped in the grain bin.
The incident happened at 2558 Dry Hollow Road in Liberty Township.
GRANT COUNTY (WQOW) --- Firefighters on scene of a farm outside of Lancaster say they are trying to rescue someone out of a grain bin.
Med flight is on scene now waiting nearby.
Firefighters tell our ABC affiliate, 27 News, the person has not yet been rescued.
The emergency began just over an hour ago now. We will continue to update this story here.
GRANT COUNTY (WQOW) --- Grant County Sheriff's Department is on the scene of an "emergency situation" outside of Lancaster. They will not release any information at this time.
