MADISON (WKOW) – A 26-year-old man was injured Wednesday after witnesses saw him jump from the hood of a car into the side of a Madison Metro bus.

According to the City of Madison Police Department, the man’s actions took place on the 3000 block of E. Washington Ave. at 5:30 p.m. during rush-hour as people were traveling to Concerts on the Square. Witnesses told police the man appeared to be arguing with a woman. The couple had been traveling in a car, but it had stopped in a bus lane.

Before leaping into the side of the bus, the man jumped from the hood a couple of times into traffic. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
