Missing Lodi man found

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Police say David D. Shipley, 78, who was last seen Friday morning in Lodi, has been found. We'll have more details as the story develops.


LODI (WKOW) – Police are searching for a missing and endangered adult who was last seen Friday morning.

According to the Lodi Police Department, David D. Shipley, 78, left his home at 323 Pebble Brooke Lane in Lodi at 8:45 a.m. He left home with approximately $2,500 and was driving a 2001 tan Lexus RX-300 SUV with the Wisconsin license plate 375-WPB.

He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a brown thermal shirt, and tennis shoes. Shipley made recent mention of visiting Florida, Indiana, and/or Arkansas; he does have family in these locations, who have been alerted. Shipley has a history of strokes, memory loss, and is on substantial medications for health concerns.

Police ask that anyone with information call the Lodi Police Department; they can be contacted through the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 608-742-4166.
