Montreal, Quebec (WQOW) -- Jake Dowell's pro hockey career continues. The 29-year-old Eau Claire native has signed a one-year deal with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs are the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadians. Dowell spent the past two seasons in the Minnesota Wild organization. In 2014, Dowell played one game with the Wild and 57 with the team's AHL affiliate in Iowa. By joining the Canadians organization, Dowell is reunited with former Wisconsin teammate and Hudson native Davis Drewiske.
