WEST ALLIS (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin State Fair is underway in West Allis, and that means cream puffs are back.
Folks from all around southeastern Wisconsin lined up bright and early this morning, entering the cream puff drive-thru. More than 300 "Team Cream Puff" members are making the delectable treats for commuters.
"24 hours in advance, we'll have your order for you, whatever sized order you want, cash, credit or if you have those certificates from before the fair started, you can turn those in too, we'll have them for you every morning," Dave "Puff Daddy" Schmidt said.
While the fair has a lot of traditions, it's also a place for new ideas, including a new twist on corn on the cob. Corn in a Cup is the same amount of corn as a cob, just easier to eat.
