GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Packers receiver Jared Abbrederis ended all speculation on Saturday afternoon, tweeting out that he did indeed suffer an ACL injury.

"I know there has been a lot of talk going around about my injury," Abbrederis tweeted from his @abbrecadabra account. "The acl injury was confirmed this morning and is only a small setback."

Abbrederis will likely miss his entire rookie season for the Packers. He had been making strides in camp, recently receiving praise from Packers offensive coordinator Tom Clements for his route running and catching ability. Abbrederis followed up with a second tweet, leaving no doubt that he will be back.

"It will only make me stronger, and I cannot wait to get back on the field with my team! I truly appreciate all the love and support!"
