PHOTOS: Chalkfest turns Eau Claire's Wilson Park into gorgeous display of drawings
Eau Claire (WQOW) - Wilson Park in downtown Eau Claire was transformed from a blank canvas into dozens of beautiful chalk drawings over the weekend.
Volume One's annual Chalkfest took place Saturday afternoon. "They have artists from all over the region, coming in and creating beautiful artwork for the sidewalks," said Salina Heller, from Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. "It's so neat to watch them do it, and then come back later and see all the wonderful masterpieces that they've created. It really is amazing."
About 150 artists from Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, and even Chicago, took part in the sidewalk spectacle. If you weren't able to check it out, please enjoy our photo slideshow above!
