Madison (WQOW) -- Wisconsin will always be known as a running team, and with Melvin Gordon leading the way in 2014, that'll again be the case.
But the Badgers may be a better passing team than originally thought. Three true freshmen (Natrell Jamerson, George Rushing, Krenwick Sanders) look like they can contribute, and in Sunday's scrimmage, sophomore Reggie Love had three catches, including a TD toss from Joel Stave.
"I want to make sure they know my name and I want to make sure they know I've arrived," says Love, "but at the same time it's still about the team because we want to make sure we get something accomplished."
"Reggie has made some plays week in and week out," says Wisconsin head coach Gary Andersen, "it is about time we talk about Reggie because he was impressive . I'm proud of Reggie, he's a young man who's battled, who's fought and I think he's made football more important to him."
