UPDATE: AWOL inmate returned to Dane Co. jail

UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says that Marvin Webb has returned to Dane County Jail.  He was AWOL Tuesday.


MADISON (WKOW) -- A 21-year-old Madison man has been declared AWOL from the Dane County Jail.

Marvin Webb was sentenced to jail, with Huber privileges, and was released Tuesday morning from the Public Safety Building to attend a treatment program.  Webb was expected to return to the jail at noon, but did not.  Deputies also learned he did not attend his treatment program.

 Webb is serving time for several crimes including theft, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, and resisting/obstructing.  Anyone with information on Marvin Webb's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
