Burlington man faces charges for child porn downloads

Posted: Updated:

RACINE COUNTY (WKOW) -- A southeast Wisconsin man faces 10 felonies for downloading child pornography.

According to the criminal complaint, 44-year-old William Person had 131,000 images and 59 videos of child porn on his computer at his home in Burlington. The complaint says that was only part of the computer's hard drive. The entire storage had not been completely analyzed.

In early May, investigators from the Walworth County Sheriff's Department alerted the Burlington Police Department of Person's downloads. Police officers searched Person's home on McHenry Street a few days later.

If convicted, Person faces a maximum of 25 years in prison on each count.
