Chef Olson is back to give some helpful cooking tips

MADISON (WKOW) -- Wake Up Wisconsin anchor Brandon Taylor learned some helpful cooking tips Thursday morning.

Chef Joel Olson with Hemmachef continues to split his time between Madison and Washington, D.C. giving cooking lessons to adults and children.

Chef Olson showed Brandon the proper way to cut and chop ginger. He says many people are intimidating by cooking because of the chopping involved, but there are techniques you can use where you won't put your fingers in danger.
