Superior, Wis. (AP) -Five people have been charged in the killing of a 20-year-old man during an attempted robbery in Superior.
WDIO-TV reports 17-year-old Chance Andrews is charged with felony murder and accused of shooting 20-year-old Garth Velin Tuesday evening.
Kyham Dunn, Teah Phillips, Kane Robinson and Dallas Robinson, who range in age from 17 to 20, were all also charged Friday with being accomplices to felony murder.
KBJR-TV reports police say there was evidence of illegal drug activity, however investigation's focus remains on the murder.
The complaint says Phillips quoted Andrews as telling her he pulled a gun on Velin, but Velin grabbed the gun. The complaint says Andrews said the gun aaccidentallywent off.
Both Robinsons and Dunn are from Duluth, Minnesota and Andrews and Phillips are from Superior.
