Vacant mobile home destroyed by fire in Lake Hallie

 Lake Hallie (WQOW)- Flames tore through a vacant mobile home in Lake Hallie Friday evening. 

Two dozen firefighters from the Chippewa Fire District were called to an address along 22nd Avenue around 6:00 Friday night. The fire chief says the mobile home was vacant, no one had been living there, and there was no electrical service. It's unclear what caused the fire but the mobile home was destroyed. 

News Release On Friday November 26 at 5:56 pm the Chippewa Fire District was dispatched to a reported mobile home fire at 11567 22nd Ave in the Village of Lake Hallie. The property is owned by MarlysHyland of Woodville, Wisconsin. Lake Hallie Police Department arriving first on the scene reported a fully involved 12 x 50 mobile home. The fire was extinguished by Chippewa Fire District firefighters and placed under control at 6:20 pm. Firefighters remained on scene until 8:20. All stations of the Chippewa Fire District responded and there were 7 units and 24 personnel.  There were no injuries and no one was home at the time of the fire. The fire is currently under investigation by the Chippewa Fire District and the Lake Hallie Police Department.

The Chippewa Fire District would like to remind area residents to make sure sidewalks are shoveled and your home is accessible to emergency service personnel. Also your local fire department appreciates the public keeping fire hydrants clear of snow and shoveled out.
