Eau Claire (WQOW) – Monday was the first day of finals for students at UW-Eau Claire, and the university's library will be providing unique opportunities for students to relieve stress throughout the week.
They are offering free massages, coloring and crafts, and they are even bringing in a little extra help: therapy dogs. The goal is to give students a break from studying and create a few smiles.
"We want to show the students that we have their backs, we want them to know that we support them and we want them to be positively reinforced and we want them to get through finals successfully and have a good feeling about going into finals and this is one way that we can show them that we are helping them along the way," said Eric Jennings, Outreach Coordinator.
On Monday night, the chancellor will be serving the students pancakes at the library as well.
