Caroline Bach - WQOW TV: Eau Claire, WI NEWS18 News, Weather, and Sports

Caroline Bach

Caroline is the co-anchor for the statewide morning newscast Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend.

A Cleveland, Ohio native, Caroline was excited to return to the Midwest. She moved to Madison after serving as the weekend anchor at WQOW's sister station in Bluefield, West Virginia, WVVA. There, Caroline reported on many stories that received national coverage including Hurricane Sandy, the Freedom Industries chemical spill into the Elk River in Charleston and West Virginia's inaugural Boy Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. WVVA also received an Associated Press Award for Caroline's spot news coverage of a fugitive caught on the West Virginia Turnpike -- a doctor and University of Pittsburgh researcher accused of poisoning his wife with cyanide.

Prior to her time in West Virginia, Caroline worked and went to school in northeast Ohio. She was a producer for Parma Area Community television, covering stories on local government, schools and sports. Caroline began her internship "career" at WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio. She also interned at WTOL in Toledo, Ohio and for Dateline NBC in New York City. Caroline graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors Program at Baldwin Wallace University.

Off the clock, you'll find her exploring south central Wisconsin, from downtown Madison to the great outdoors. She's an exercise junkie, cooking fiend, music lover and Cleveland sports follower, whose guilty pleasures are chocolate and craft beer.
