Eau Claire (WQOW) - Some employees at Eau Claire Ford took it upon themselves to help others bundle up and stay warm this winter.
The employees organized a winter clothing drive and told News 18 they are looking to fill up a Ford Transit with 200 coats for those in need.
More than 60 coats have already been collected, and community members are encouraged to bring in coats for the drive.
"I think the biggest thing is for us to be a part of the community," Cathy Tepaske, an Eau Claire Ford employee, said. "In terms of helping those families who maybe need a little extra assistance with coats and things around this time of the year, and just taking care of those folks who need it."
Coats can be dropped off at Eau Claire Ford, right off exit 68 on Interstate 94, anytime during normal business hours until Nov. 6. The coats will go to Acts of Random Kindness in Eau Claire, which is open on Wednesdays and every other Saturday for coat pick-up.
