Copy-Stevens Point shooting victim dies; Dane County suspect still on the run
STEVENS POINT (WKOW) -- The man shot in Stevens Point on March 17 has died, and authorities are still looking for the man they believe shot him.
On March 17, Deonta Lenzine was shot at about 8 p.m. in the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue. In an update from the Stevens Point Police Department, authorities said Lenzine died Friday evening. Officials were searching around the state, including in Dane County, for the suspect, Kyle Engen.
An autopsy is scheduled for next week on Lenzine to determine an official cause of death.
Police said they have no new leads on Engen, and are encouraging people to reach out if they have information about where he may be.
