"Free Rides to the Polls" program helps WI voters get to polls on Election Day

Posted:

Wisconsin (WQOW) - One Wisconsin program is offering a way to help voters get to the polls if they do not have a ride of their own.

Common Cause in Wisconsin developed a list of advocacy groups, transit authorities, transportation and other organizations throughout the state offering rides to polling sites on Election Day. To increase the number of ride options, they recruited individual volunteers to add to a statewide "Free Rides to the Polls" directory

If you would like to join their team of volunteer drivers, or know of any groups in your area offering free rides to the polls, contact Common Cause as soon as possible to be added to the list.

Reminder to all voters: bring your valid Wisconsin voter ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport) in order to cast your ballot.
