WI musician to perform for troops overseas

Chetek (WQOW) -- A Wisconsin musician is taking his talents on tour overseas.

In a couple of weeks, Chetek resident Chris Kroeze will head to the Middle East to perform for U.S. soldiers. He's best known locally for his song 'Four Letter Words' and released a new single, 'I Don't Miss You No More,' Friday morning.

Before Kroeze leaves the country on December 6th he'll stop in Nashville and meet up with several other musicians who plan to travel with him, including on who recently toured with Josh Gracin.

Kroeze says it's a dream come true to share his life-long passion with the people protecting our country.

"Not having served myself, it's just a little something I can do to give back," he said. "And bring a little home over there for them guys."

Kroeze plans to donate 500 of his CDs to the soldiers while he's there. He's raising money for the project and says 2 CDs will be donated for every $5 raised.

You can support Kroeze's cause by donating to his Go Fund Me account and you can follow along with his trip on his Facebook page
