Authorities say up to 20 structures were destroyed in Jackson County. That included a Baptist Church, a convenience store, gas station and strip mall, according to the NWS and Jackson County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Rocky Harman.
Another reported tornado happened near the town of Ider, says the NWS, ripping through a 24-hour daycare and leaving four children in critical condition. The daycare was destroyed.
