NEW: Barron County Sheriff's Department says damage is still being tallied, volunteers needed for cleanup

Barron County (WQOW) - The Barron County Sheriff said damage across the county, following Tuesday's tornado, is still being tallied.

Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said 231 property owners have reported storm damage. A dollar amount of the estimated damage is not available yet. 

The sheriff said one woman remains in an area hospital, in serious condition. One man, who lived in the Prairie Lakes Estates trailer park, was killed during Tuesday's storm. More than a dozen others were injured.

Sheriff Fitzgerald said volunteers are needed to help with the cleanup effort. Anyone who wants to help is being asked to gather at the Volunteer Reception Center at St. Peters Church on Highway 8 in Cameron.
