LATEST: Names released in fatal head-on crash in Dunn Co.

Dunn County (WQOW) - We now know the names of those involved in a fatal crash in Dunn County on Thursday.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 36 year old Serghei Kundilovski, of California, was the driver of a black car that went the wrong way on I-94 Thursday night. Authorities say his vehicle crashed head-on with a grey vehicle, which caught of fire.

All three occupants of the grey car were pronounced dead at the scene. They were: 32 year old Adam Kendhammer, 27 year old Jeremy Berchem, and 29 year old Bryan Rudell. All three men were from Minnesota.

Authorities say Kundilovski remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

- Three people are dead and one person was seriously injured after a crash in Dunn County on Thursday.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said the person driving the wrong way remains hospitalized. It happened Thursday night around 6 p.m. near Knapp.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the driver of a black car was driving westbound at a high rate of speed in the eastbound lanes of I-94 near mile marker 37.

Authorities said the car then crashed head-on with a gray vehicle, which then caught fire.

All three occupants of the gray car were pronounced dead at the scene.

The names of the victims of that crash are being withheld until their families are notified.

Dunn Co. (News Release) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash Thursday night, that resulted in three fatalities and one severe injury.

According to a press release from the state patrol, the two car crash occurred at 5:44 p.m. on I-94, near Mile Post 37 near Knapp.

According to the release, a driver of a black car was driving westbound, at a high rate of speed, in the eastbound lanes. That car then collided head-on with a gray car. All three occupants of the gray car died in the crash. The driver of the black car was airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victims are not being identified at this time, pending family notification.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
