(WQOW) -- Friday night, a couple of area teams punched their tickets to Madison with wins in Level 4. That includes Rice Lake, who rolled past Green Bay Notre Dame 28-7 in a rematch of last year's Division 3 Sectional Final.

The Warriors opened the scoring - Kenny Bednarek flashing his speed with a 66 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. From there, Rice Lake mounted a 14-0 halftime lead and pulled away, avenging last season's loss to the same team.

"We felt like crap last year when we turned the ball over, and they knew they didn't play their best game," says Warriors head coach Dan Hill, "All we wanted was a shot to be able to come back and execute and they did a hell of a job. Every aspect of the game, our kids were focused and they didn't turn the ball over, and we made some mistakes, but they played their hearts out, played as a team."

The Warriors will take on New Berlin Eisenhower next Friday at 10 a.m.

In Division 4, the St. Croix Central Panthers make their return to State for the second straight year after a second half surge in Level 4. Central topped Freedom 42-21 last night. They will face Lodi in the State Championship this coming Thursday night at 7 p.m.
