More than 60,000 visitors are expected to visit Eau Claire during the summer of 2020 because of a local farm is hosting the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days.
The Huntsinger Farm and its Silver Spring Foods branch was picked for one of the largest farming events in the Badger State in 2020.
The event will mark the 67th year of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days and the Huntsinger family is already preparing for the attraction to take place in the Chippewa Valley.
The family told News 18 within the next two years, they'll tidy up their farmhouse and field and designate areas for more than 600 education and farm technology vendors.
"Farm Technology Days is going to showcase Eau Claire County's agriculture. So we are going to have field demos, we're going to be cultivating other crops other than just horseradish. We certainly will want to showcase some of our processes because we have some unique equipment to harvest and plant horseradish," Huntsinger Farms and Silver Spring Foods Inc. Vice President, Eric Rygg said.
Rygg is also a fourth generation family member of the Huntsinger family farm.
Huntsinger farms is known as the founder of horseradish farming dating all the way back to the 1920's.
The 67th Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is set for July 21st through the 23rd in 2020.
