Two dead in shooting outside Kenosha County bar; suspect caught

TWIN LAKES - Two men are dead after a shooting in Kenosha County.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday outside Beach Bar near Barry Road and Lake Avenue in the village of Twin Lakes.

Police confirm that a 28-year-old man died at the scene. A 31-year-old man was taken to Burlington Hospital, where he later died.

Police said the shooting happened in a parking lot behind the business during an altercation between the victims and the suspect.

Police said this was an isolated incident with no active threat to the community.

Witnesses at the scene identified the suspect as a 25-year-old man with a last-known address in Trevor.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol found him later Friday morning traveling northbound on Interstate 94 near Tomah. He was taken into custody.
