Eau Claire (WQOW)- Out with Thanksgiving leftovers and in with the Christmas spirit. Even though the temperatures felt like a fall day, many people in Eau Claire were ready to decorate for Christmas, Friday.
On Friday, News 18 stopped by Kyle's Christmas Trees, which already had a steady stream of people in and out buying trees. Business Partner Larry Davis said going in to this weekend is the busiest time for tree-buyers, and when the majority of sales happen.
Davis said Fraser firs are the most popular. While they sell more balsams, right now the Fraser goes quickly and will most likely be gone by next weekend.
Kyle's Christmas Trees has been around for decades, and they sell out every year, the owner said.
"This weekend will really be busy, (the) next two weekends should be really good. [Friday] should be a good day, the weekend will actually be better, but there's a lot of people out shopping today, there really is," Davis said.
The tree farm co-owner's best advice make sure you measure your space before you come so you know how tall and wide you want your tree to be.
