Southeast Wisconsin man accused of tossing explosives faces serious charges
Walworth Co. (WISN) -- Shocking surveillance video shows a man tossing homemade bombs from his pickup truck, and trying to run people down.
The man accused, 46-year-old Robert Leathers, was seen lighting the devices and tossing them repeatedly. One device even detonated. No one was hurt in the incident, which happened last Tuesday near Lake Geneva.
Leathers now faces five felonies, accused of possessing explosives, pointing a handgun at someone, and recklessly endangering safety.
A judge set Leathers' bail at $100,000, citing the criminal complaint, which show police found five explosive devices around the area and six more in a search of his home and vehicle.
The District Attorney called him a great risk to the public.
