Eau Claire (WQOW) – The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will send a jet to the Chippewa Valley in preparation for the 2018 air show. Members of the elite demonstration flight team will meet with air show organizers to review expectations and to begin preparations.
U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet is scheduled to arrive at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport around 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 30. It will depart around 8 a.m. on Friday, December 1.
The visit is not open to the public, however, fans should watch the skies around these times.
The Chippewa Valley Air Show will be held on June 16 & 17, 2018 at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. More acts and information will be available in the coming months. The air show will support the Chippewa Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America by raising awareness about scouting programs across local communities, as well as raising funds for special projects. Additionally, funds raised will support numerous other non-profit groups that volunteer at the air show.
