CF woman arrested for holding man at knife-point is ordered to get mental health evaluation

UPDATE:
Chippewa Falls (WQOW) -
A Chippewa Falls woman accused of stalking a man, and trying to rob him, has been ordered to get a mental health evaluation, and any necessary treatment.

That's part of the resolution for the case against Courtney Subatch.

Last year, an Eau Claire man told police he met Subatch on Tinder, and they had sex.

Several days later, he said she walked into his apartment and tried to steal prescription medications. When he told her to leave, he said she held a knife to his throat and demanded money.

Police said two days later, they caught Subatch trying to get in through his window, armed with a large knife.

This week, Subatch pleaded guilty to stalking, and two other charges. If she doesn't break the law for two years, and does community service, the felony charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor.

- A Chippewa Falls woman was charged Wednesday for allegedly stalking a man, and trying to rob him.

An Eau Claire man told police he met Courtney Subatch on Tinder and they had sex.

Several days later, he said Subatch walked into his apartment unannounced, and tried to steal his prescription medicines.

When he told her to leave, he said she held a knife to his throat and demanded all his money. He managed to disarm her, but was cut in the process, and his debit cards were missing.

Two days later, Nov. 30, the man heard someone trying his door handle and his power went out. Police found Subatch trying to force her way into a window.
They said she had turned off the apartment's main breaker switch, and had a large knife and box cutter on her.

The man told police he now fears for his safety.

Subatch returns to court next Tuesday,
