Chippewa County (WQOW) - A Chippewa County man charged with having a meth lab in his uncle's basement will spend eight months in jail.
That sentence was handed down Tuesday by Judge Steven Cray after Mackenzie Gabert of Boyd pleaded guilty to possessing ingredients used to make meth.
Back in August, Gabert's uncle contacted police and said he thought there was a meth lab in his basement where Mackenzie Gabert lived. Police said a search turned up numerous drugs, needles and chemicals to make meth. Police said he admitted to using heroin and meth
