Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - A deserving family from Chippewa Falls is rolling into the new year with a new ride.
"We're here for you, this is a surprise for you Kacey," said Bill Bertrand of Morrie's Mazda. "Somebody nominated you for the '60 Days of Giving' and this was all an elaborate ploy just to get you here. So not only today are we going to super size it, we have a car here for you that we're actually going to give you."
Friday, Kacey Sneen was surprised with a new car from Morrie's Mazda as part of the '60 Days of Giving' campaign.
Sneen, a single mother of four, was speechless after a simple lunch at McDonalds left her with a much-needed vehicle.
Because three of her four kids have medical issues, Sneen spends a lot of time driving to, and from, the doctor. Without a car of her own, she was dependent on her friends and family for rides.
Now, she's able to get around freely and already has the first road trip in mind; taking her youngest to the hospital in Minnesota.
"She's 19 months old and needs a heart transplant, so we'll be on the road next week already, to head up to Rochester," Sneen said. "It means so much, it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm just so grateful."
Along with the free car from Morrie's Mazda, Sneen was given a year's worth of free gas from Mega-Holiday.
