On December 30, 2017 members of the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office were conducting an ongoing narcotics investigation involving the possession and distribution of methamphetamine by James Unser, 59, of Glen Flora, WI.
Shortly thereafter, a traffic stop was completed on Unser’s vehicle as it returned into Rusk County.
The Rusk County K9 was deployed and found narcotics. A search of the vehicle was completed and 120 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of money was located and collected for evidence.
Police said Unser was arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of felony bail jumping.
Unser has three open felony cases from Taylor, Rusk and Dunn Counties, two of which are methamphetamine related.
