Traffic stop leads to meth-related arrest for second time this week in Trempealeau Co.

Trempealeau County (WQOW) - For the second time in three days a traffic stop in Trempealeau County leads to a drug arrest.

The sheriff's office took Ashley Thelen and Jeremy Brandes, both from Minnesota, into custody just before noon Wednesday. Following the traffic stop, a K9 unit was requested and the dog was able to find methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Both suspects will spend the night in the Trempealeau County Jail awaiting formal charges.
