10/11: Menomonie Special Olympics Polar Plunge


Eau Claire (WQOW) -- If you're itching to go jump in the lake, good news, the Polar Plunge is coming up next week!

The Polar Plunge benefiting the Special Olympics is set for Saturday, February 10, starting at noon at Wakanda Park Beach in Menomonie.

Register ONLINE and search for Menomonie to take the plunge. There is also a Facebook Event set up for the plunge.

And if you wanted to volunteer, there is a portal set up to registrations to help out either before the event, setup of the event, or day of the event.

FREE breakfast including eggs, pancakes and sausage by the Silver Dollar at 315 Main Street, Menomonie from 9am - 12noon on Plunge day. All donations go to Special Olympics.

FREE heated shuttles from three downtown locations throughout the plunge day. Locations are Silver Dollar, Marion's Legacy Chocolates, and The Waterfront.

FREE heated shuttles from Wakanda Park parking area down to the beach area and back up to your car.
