Rusk County (FLAMBEAU HIGH SCHOOL) - Flambeau High School is having their 11th Annual Cancer Benefit this Friday.
Over the past ten years, they have raised over $100,000 for various organizations. The funds raised this year will be split between the Women With Courage Foundation of Rusk County and Joshua's Camp in Eau Claire. They will also be using some of the funds to purchase a gift for a Flambeau student who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
The event is on February 2 during their double-header basketball game versus Cornell. There will also be a morning assembly for the students and community.
There will be a silent auction (including the items we are bringing and more), a pie auction, 50/50 raffle, free will donation meal, ice cream sundae bar, face painting station, and more at the evening's event.
During the morning assembly we will have our annual pink ribbon picture, hair donations to Children With Hair Loss, and guest speakers.
