Clark County (WQOW) - A Clark County woman faces charges of causing serious injuries to a baby.
Amanda Noah, from Greenwood, was charged Wednesday.
Police were notified by a hospital after the four-month-old baby was brought in with injuries in April 2016. The baby was reported to be breathing and non-responsive after her mother left her in the care of Noah and another woman.
Doctors said the baby had a rotation injury similar to a car crash, and hemorrhaging in her eyes.
Detectives said Noah told them she had become frustrated while caring for the baby and a five-year-old, and that she forcefully flung the crying infant onto Noah's shoulder.
Noah will make her initial court appearance in March.
