Mount Pleasant (WISN) -- Police said four men posing as Foxconn contractors conned their way into a home, where they stole jewelry and money.
The homeowners said it's nothing new to see construction projects along County Line Road, but they didn't expect to be scammed by people posing as a workers.
Lucille Sauder got a knock on her door Thursday afternoon.
She said a man identified himself as a contractor for Foxconn who said he needed to check her water lines.
Another person walked into the home as the first guy examined the kitchen sink and pipes.
They distracted Sauder while two more men ransacked her bedroom, where they stole hundreds of dollars in cash and jewelry.
"We didn't realize until we went to bed at night and found stuff laying on the bed, and a couple dresser drawers pulled partway out. They don't get left out like that in our house," Sauder said.
Sauder and her husband are just glad they weren't hurt.
Police warn people to not let anyone in their house who they don't know.
