Eau Claire (WQOW) - The wedding bells were ringing at the Eau Claire Courthouse on Valentine's Day.
Three couples said their "I dos" at the courthouse throughout the day on Wednesday. February 14 is special for one pair of newlyweds. Paul and Cindy Smith met on the day of love two years ago at a Valentine's Day party. They decided to continue celebrating the romantic holiday by saying "till death do us part" this year.
"Well Paul, I just love him so much. He's very kind, you know the Tim McGraw song, "Humble and Kind," that's Paul. He's a really good man and I just love him,"" the blushing bride, Cindy Smith said about her husband.
"I just love her. She's hardworking, she's a good woman and she's beautiful. Cindy was everything I was looking for," Paul said.
The Smiths will celebrate their vows this summer with family and friend at a reception. Paul wanted to wait until August to get married, but Cindy just couldn't wait any longer.
By getting married on Valentine's Day, not only are they continuing their love together, they've made remembering their anniversary pretty easy.
