Stanley (WQOW) - At about 9:30 Thursday morning, Stanley police were called by the Stanley-Boyd School District about a handwritten message found on a restroom stall in the girl's bathroom of the middle school. It was found by a student who told school administration.
The police met with school leaders and it was determined not to be an active threat, so they decided to continue with the school day.
Surveillance video from outside the restroom was reviewed and multiple people were interviewed.

Stanley (WQOW) - According to a Facebook post from the Stanley Police Department, a message was found within the school district and police are investigating.
Classes are continuing as normal, according to the post.
