Which roads will be closed for Eau Claire Marathon

Eau Claire (WQOW) - With thousands of runners descending on Eau Claire this weekend for the Eau Claire Marathon, foot traffic will rule the road, causing many road closures and detours around the 26-mile route.

Road closures begin at 7 a.m. Sunday and go until mid-afternoon on stretches of several streets.

There will be parking restrictions posted along the route, and there will be no parking allowed in Carson Park before the race.

Shuttles will run continuously from 6:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. There are two designated parking areas, both with shuttle service to and from Carson Park:

  • 198 Water Street - UWEC Parking Lot
  •  620 West Clairemont Avenue - CVTC Parking Lot #3
