Goat yoga is trend sweeping the country, giving people a chance to get a light workout surrounded by the cute farm animals.
The 'Goats Everywhere' event is happening on Sunday, May 6 at Rainbow Ridge Farms in Onalaska. People will have the chance to feed, hike, cuddle, and do yoga with the goats.
Access Ability Wisconsin will bring all-terrain wheelchairs to ensure that people of all abilities can be part of the fun.
The event is gaining a lot of attention on Facebook with 1,400 submitting their RSVP and more than 13,000 sharing that they are interested.
'Goat Everywhere' is a fundraiser to help local 4-H members. The La Crosse County 4-H Goat Project allows kids to get hands-on experience working on the farm and showing goats.
"We use it a lot for the fair, offsetting any cost when we go to shows, because I know costs build up and it adds up for some people," said Helayna Nerby, Chairperson of the La Crosse County 4-H Goat Project. "So, it helps offset the cost."
Rainbow Ridge Farms will use a portion of the money raised to fund scholarships for summer camps.
'Goats Everywhere' runs from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It costs $5 per person with children 2 and under admitted free of charge. Organizers remind people that only cash payments are accepted.
