Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - The Chippewa Falls Museum and Colossal Fossils are hosting a fossil exhibit at the Avalon Conference Center.
You can learn about ice-age mammals like the saber-tooth tiger, and of course, the king of Jurassic, Tyrannosaurus Rex. The exhibits also have small-scale features like replica jellyfish fossils, and kids can touch them.
"There are very few museums that let the kids touch almost everything," said David Daniels, of Colossal Fossils. "That is what we strive to do is to make it as hands-on as possible."
The activities will continue Saturday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. General admission is $10.
