Carson Park, Eau Claire (WQOW) -- For the second straight night, the Express offense can't muster a run, as Eau Claire drops their third straight game to the Larks, 3-0 in 10 innings.
Justin Revels impressed for the Express on the mound, throwing 9 innings, and only allowing 2 hits. Eau Claire had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the 9th with runners on second and third, but Nate Thimjon flew out to right field for the final out of the inning. Bismarck wasted no time breaking the scoreless tie, getting to Revels' replacement, Isaiah Davis, in the top of the 10th. The Larks took advantage of a pair of fielding errors by the Express to score all three of their runs. Those were the only errors Eau Claire committed all night.
Eau Claire's record now stands at 4-8, with Bismarck improving to 8-4. The Express will travel to Waterloo to face the Bucks, Sunday, in a game scheduled to start at 2:05 p.m.
