Eau Claire (WQOW)- Workers across the Chippewa Valley are gearing up for one of the most exciting events of the summer.
Setup began Monday for the 2018 Chippewa Valley Air Show, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport.
Local members of the Boy Scouts of America were on hand to help roll out a flight-line for the performers, as well as putting up chalets and booths for corporate sponsors.
Much of the proceeds for the event will be given to the Chippewa Valley council of the Boy Scouts.
"The Chippewa Valley Air Show is first and foremost a fundraiser for the Boy Scouts, the Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. This is a really fun event that helps us support the Boy Scouts, and it also supports non-profits in the area," said air show committee member Meghan Kulig.
Tickets for adults cost $30 in advance and $40 on the day of the show, while kids under the age of 12 get free admission.
The show will be headlined by the famous United States Navy Blue Angels.
