GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Attention all rail birds: the Green Bay Packers have released dates and times for 2018 Training Camp.
It's the team's 73rd Training Camp, a tradition that started under Curly Lambeau.
All practices take place at Ray Nitschke Field, weather permitting. Most times are mid-day. ESPN reporter and Cover 2 contributor Rob Demovsky says, "Mike McCarthy is favoring something that more closely resembles a regular season practice schedule."
Of course, the team will continue its tradition of players riding kids' bikes to practice and other yearly rituals that fans hold dear. Practices are open to the public, weather permitting.
The Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau says training camp and Family Night draw an estimated 90,000 visitors to Green Bay each year. That's an economic impact of about $9 million.
The theme is "Back to Football".
