Bruce Briney is a native of Janesville, Wisconsin and an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating with a degree is advertising in 1992, he began a career in television advertising at WKOW's sister station in La Crosse, WXOW. From there, Bruce has worked at television stations in Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Raleigh, North Carolina and Louisville, Kentucky.

In 2009, he was named Local Sales Manager at WKOW and General Sales Manager in 2011.

Bruce lives in Madison with his wife, Amy, and children Pete and Helen.
