(WQOW) — The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has unveiled its plan for football-only conference realignment, which would take effect in 2020.
The plan has been submitted to the WIAA, which will get input from schools and administrators in the coming months. The WIAA can also adjust or change the proposed plan.
Locally, the changes would include the following:Â New Richmond would move from the Middle Border to the Big Rivers, River Falls from the Big Rivers to the Mississippi Valley, Durand and Mondovi from the Dunn-St. Croix to the Coulee, Elk Mound from the Dunn-St Croix to the Cloverbelt, Cadott from the Cloverbelt to the Dunn-St. Croix, and Clear Lake, Elmwood/Plum City, & Turtle Lake from the Lakeland to the Dunn-St. Croix.Â
